Report on project results in TCLF at EU, national and regional level – A first snapshot The report includes a broad analysis of best practices, documents and projects implemented at European, national and regional levels in TCLF. Having an overview of what exists in TCLF in terms of education and training services in Europe can favour cooperation, exchange of experiences, learning from each other.
Research methodology to identify occupations and skills needs Analysis of the outcomes coming from the Skills Council Report SPIN360, with the collaboration of a group of experts coming from the partners mainly involved in this phase (IVOC, COBOT, CIAPE, PIN, Politecnico Calzaturiero and the Umbrella organisations CEC, COTANCE and EURATEX), made in-depth analysis on the Skills Council Report, the outcomes of Digital TCLF EU project and other European and national reports focused on the evolution of TCLF industries (drivers of change and emerging occupations).
Future needed skills and trends for the TCLF sectors This report contains a selection of the statistical findings of a survey among 225 companies from the textile, clothing, leather and footwear industry in 2018. The survey aimed to test the project hypotheses about skills needs on the field. This assessment was intended to provide input for the following phases of the project, in particular the choice of occupations for which we will update training content and offer it to (future) employees in the industry. The statistics from this report had to support the identification of the priority competence domains by the project partners.
First Draft of the Sectoral Skills Strategy – key information EURATEX, in collaboration with the Skills4SmartTCLF Blueprint project partners, has produced an in-depth analysis of the textile, clothing, leather, and footwear industries examining employment figures and trends. This document aims to establish the first set of recommendations for industry, policy and education-related stakeholders as well as to present five distinctive scenarios describing how the industries may look like in 2030, which have been developed based on the research and know-how of the partnership.
