DESCRIPTION:The consortium of the Erasmus+ Blueprint Skills4Smart TCLF industries 2030 project invites you to the online event Digital Learning and Teaching Opportunities in TCLF under the Erasmus Days 2021. \nThe event will present the work achieved by the project consortium experts in developing cutting-edge digital MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) for 8 of the most-needed occupation profiles in the TCLF industries. \nThese open-license MOOCs offer high-quality learning material\, with a strong focus on simulation and real-life situations. Piloted with around 2.000 young students from across Europe\, the webinar will present the MOOCs’ strengths and how teachers can use them to enhance their regular teaching material. \nThe event will also feature as guest speaker Gianluca Coppola\, the President of the European Digital Learning Network who will offer guidance on how to make use of and capitalise on digital learning\, and there will of course be room for exchanges and discussions. \nThe webinar will take place on the 15th of October from 14:30  to 16:00 CEST. DESCRIPTION:In the last two years\, ETSA worked together with HeurekaNet\, the Belgian Textile Federation\, the German Textile Cleaning Association\, the Laundry and Dry-Cleaning Association of the Czech Republic and the Swedish Textile Service Association in supporting the project “Improving E-learning in the textile care sector” funded by ERASMUS +\, which is now coming to an end. \nThe new Erasmus+ project\, “Educate! E-Learning for the Textile Care Sector” aims to improve social inclusion by opening educational and innovative opportunities to workers in the textile service industry. \nBy developing a digital platform\, which includes learning modules and tutorials as well as interactive explanatory videos\, an accessible and state-of-the art learning platform will be accessible to provide opportunities and upskill workers in the textile sector. The basics of textile care\, Workers will be able to learn at their own pace and utilize mobile devices to allow for an extremely flexible working experience\, which is key as we continue to contend with the COVID-19 pandemic. This platform will also succeed in promoting gender equality\, integration\, and social inclusion. This spirit of sustainable competitiveness is in line with the EU Green Deal goals as well as the European Skills Agenda. \nJoin this webinar to see this project in its final form\, and learn about the challenges and opportunities ETSA and partners found in creating this platform. \nWe are looking forward to seeing you there!

DESCRIPTION:JOIN US for an online event on the 3rd of November organised by the Erasmus+ Blueprint Skills4Smart TCLF Industries 2030 consortium as part of the fifth European Vocational Skills Week.  \nRegistrations are now open and learn about the results of our research! \nIn September and October 2020\, S4TCLF consortium partners organised a series of online workshops across the EU\, gathering more than 200 participants from 95 European TCLF VET providers. These workshops – and the associated large-scale survey – aimed to better understand VET providers’ strengths and needs to best address current challenges in education and respond faster to industry needs. \nThese workshops were also an opportunity to propose to join a Network of European VET providers promoting Excellence to help build strong and dynamic VET providers in Europe. Collaboration is a win-win situation for all\, and such Network would reinforce the effectiveness of VET education\, the upskill & reskill of current and future workers\, and consequently boost the growth of TCLF companies. \nThe present EU workshop will synthesise and outline the most interesting conclusions and best practices that emerged from this endeavour. \nYou can find more details in the invitation to the event. \nConsult the agenda and don’t wait to register!

DESCRIPTION:Skills for Smart Textiles\, Clothing Leather and Footwear (Skills4smart TCLF)\, is the name of a European partnership between 21 organisations from 9 European countries on skills policy in our sectors. The project is one of the sectoral Blueprint projects within the framework of the European Skills Agenda (https://ec.europa.eu/social/main.jsp?catId=1223). \nThe Blueprint project for the textile and clothing sector revolves around the question of how Europe can best support an effective skills policy in our industry. The project consists of several parts. After a study and a survey of more than 200 companies in the sector in 2018\, work was done on a skills strategy\, the promotion of the sector\, and especially on a supply of training materials for eight critical competency domains. \nAs a training centre for our sector\, you have expressed your interest in the project in the past. Today\, we are presenting the training materials to you during a webinar. \nIn the coming months\, the materials will be tested with users in the form of MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) via the online training platform iversity.org. On 10 September\, we will be happy to explain how you too can make use of these materials and possibly incorporate them into your training activities.
